Every single one of you are in my thoughts and prayers right now ... I'd just like to think that Joe is with King Jack and Dave Cockrum and Frank Frazetta and Dave Stevens and all the rest of the gang at the greatest life drawing class ever right now...
Hi! I just sent in my first assignment for the H&S correspondence course, I plan on taking two more. I just joined the group, and was wondering where to submit the artwork that I do over time? Thanks much!
The Kubert School sounds amazing. I've always been fascinated with comic art and cartooning, and wanted to pursue it ever since I graduated high school.
When I first heard about The Kubert School, and Joe Kubert himself, I was pretty ecstatic. A comic art school with a huge connection to the cartooning and comic industry... That's boss~
I plan on going to there in a few years. My art is not yet at a level that I feel comfortable with yet, and I'm not ready to leave home. Maybe next year, or 2013.
In any case, I'll be attending the open house on October 22nd to see what its really like in person. I plan on bringing a piece with me, if I get it finished in time~
I've heard about this school! Luckily, I live on the east coast in the U.S.! When I'm old enough, I'd really like to be a student of this school! You have mail-in courses, right? You may have a future potential "kubie" on your hands.
Living in England sucks when you discover schools like this only to find they're thousands and tousands of miles away, i think watching is all i can do or is worthy of. You guys are all amazing artists, brilliantly awesome work.
